Seed libraries
Looking for garden seeds? Master Gardener volunteers maintain six free seed libraries across Clatsop County:
Feel free to visit any of our seed libraries and take any seeds that you’ll use. Volunteers stock seed libraries with a variety of free educational materials and monthly garden calendars to help you make your garden the best it can be. Please note that donated seeds are typically unsold from the previous year, so they may have reduced germination or be varieties that are not the best selections for our particular climate. Though with enough patience and dedication, anything can be grown here! This program relies on donations from hardware and seed companies, such as Ace Hardware, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, Deep Harvest Seeds, Territorial Seed Company, Tractor Supply Company, and True Leaf Market.
