Hops Harvesting - Learn about Hops

It's time to harvest our hops at the Alderbrook Learning Garden. 


Come help us harvest the hops or just learn something about them. They'll be taken to Fort George the following day to be used in their annual Cohoperative beer which is brewed with donated hops. (Even if you don't join us for harvest, you can head to the Fort George courtyard and help process the hops Sept 4th.

If you plan to help harvest, you'll want gloves and long sleeves. 

Come see what else we're up to at the Learning Garden at Alderbrook. 

(If heavy rain/wind etc. is due, we'll pick the following morning.)
