Demo Garden Work Party and Training

The Demo Garden walkway construction is done. It looks great and we have a lot more sun exposure! We will be looking for more help in putting the finishing touches on the project in the coming weeks.  The Scandinavian Festival will draw many people to the Fairgrounds and the garden,  so we're working hard to get it looking its best. Please join us Tuesdays 11 to 1, or anytime the gates are open once you have gotten acquainted with the ongoing work. 

Bring gloves and your favorite tools.  We have tools in the shed as well.

Current goals: spreading mulch, positioning containers, removal of invasives,  thinning/dividing perennials, planting vegetables selected for the area. We will soon be recruiting volunteers for staffing a plant clinic  during fair week: July 30- August 1, 2024.
