Multifunctional Hedgerows | Growing Oregon Gardeners: Level Up Series

Register Here (Free to the Public)

We see them at the edges of farm fields or along roads: rows of trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses known as hedgerows. They are living fences with the ability to grow food, shelter wildlife, save water, manage weeds and look beautiful all year round. In this session, we will explore how to design and utilize these multi-functional plantings as a way to achieve multiple land management goals.

About the Presenter

She has been with OSU Extension since 2010 and earned her Masters in Public Policy from OSU focusing on agricultural and rural issues. She is dedicated to working collaboratively with partners in order to support a thriving local natural resource economy and a healthy community food system.
