Aunt Molly’s Ground Cherry (Physalis pruinosa) is a highly productive Polish heirloom producing small, golden-orange, citrus-sweet fruits inside papery husks that drop to the ground when ripe. Ready in ~65-70 days, these sweet-tart, pineapple-like fruits are great raw, in jams, or pies.
